CW Leadership Communication - Staying Informed

The Business Theft Task Force, a working group of the Legislative Affairs Committee, continues to focus on theft issues impacting our business.  Working with our local law enforcement officials, they are exploring ways businesses can protect themselves from being targeted.  Recently, we were reminded of the importance of seriously marking your property.  Whether tools, trailers, catalytic converters, or other assets that may be targeted, make sure you have added visible deterrents and a way you are able to provide proof of ownership should you be in that position.  In the near future, ChamberWest will share more information on suggestions for protection.

We are excited to be fully staffed again with Monica Gayden joining our team and starting this past Monday.  She officially started on Monday as our new Director of Business Development and Events.  Monica has a strong background in the hospitality industry and has been engaged with ChamberWest for many years as an active and engaged member.  I hope you will join me in making Monica feel welcome!
