January has already been a whirlwind with Legislative Affairs, the Professional Development Series Luncheon, Board of Governors Meeting, Friday Connections, and the planning for the Annual Membership Breakfast Meeting next week. AND there is even more going on behind the scenes as committee members and staff work to deliver high quality programs.
 
We are excited to see registrations coming in strong for the inaugural Annual Membership Breakfast Meeting, scheduled on January 31^st at the Viridian Event Center.  This event offers a great opportunity to join colleagues and chamber friends for a sizzling breakfast meeting.  Members will be asked to ratify the slate of new officers and board members as well as join in a big thank you to outgoing board members.  Board leadership will briefly soffer: Annual Membership Meeting
 
As we continue to advocate for our businesses with the legislature, the CW Legislative Affairs Committee is now meeting twice a week to review bills of interest and to work with legislators from our footprint.  If you have legislation impacting your business and would like us to consider a position on it, please feel free to reach out with the information.
 
For our 2023 international trip, we are going to Italy over the dates of October 14-22, 2023.  Registration opens next week and will be limited to 40 participants this year.  We will be visiting Rome, Pisa, Siena, Florence, Venice, and Milan.  It will be whirlwind adventure with airfare, 4&5-star hotel accommodations, breakfast & lunch, deluxe tour package and bus, fluent English speaking tour guides, and entrance fees to attractions all included.  Look for the promotional and registration information soon.
