As we bid farewell to summer and eagerly anticipate the arrival of fall, ChamberWest is fully engaged in delivering robust programs and events.  We remain committed to advocating for our businesses, offering education and leadership development opportunities, fostering connections with influential business and civic leaders, and much more. 
 
We hope you’re planning to join us for our most significant event of the year, the highly anticipated ChamberWest Annual Awards Gala, ‘Stars of ChamberWest, A Hollywood Night’.  This event is scheduled for Wednesday, August 30 at the Maverik Center!  During this gala, we will honor Jon Butterfield, who has been a long-time champion of ChamberWest, most recently with Holy Cross Hospital Jordan Valley.  Additionally, we will shine a spotlight on the finalists in four award categories with the winners announced during the event.  Award categories and finalists are as follows:

We’re also excited about our upcoming first Women in Business Nine ‘n Dine golf scramble and lunch, scheduled for September 13^th at the Ridge Golf Club.   If you are interested in a low stress and fun nine-hole golf scramble, sign up today as we have limited spots available for just 36 players.  Golf pros will be stationed throughout the course to offer impromptu instructions and tips and a “seasoned” golfer will join each foursome to add even more fun and golfing insights.  If you haven’t already, registration yourself and/or others from your organization at:  Nine 'n Dine Registration.  We’ll want to know your level of experience and whether we’ll need to help you with golf club rental. 
 
On September 19^th, we’re hosting the Professional Development Series Luncheon featuring Fraser Bullock, President and CEO of the Salt Lake City-Utah Committee for the Games.  Get an inside look at the high probability of hosting the games again and what it will mean for our state and business community.  Register today at:  Chamber Luncheon Registration
 
Registration is open today for the Fall Job Fair is scheduled for Thursday, September 28^th from 2:00 – 6:00 pm at Granger High School.  We’re continuing our partnership with Granite School District, Jordan School District, Salt Lake Community College and the Utah Department of Workforce Serves.  This job fair presents a fantastic opportunity for employers to connect with high school students who are eager to explore their future opportunities.  In addition, we will be promoting it to adult job seekers who are particularly interested in local employment.  There is no charge for employer tables for ChamberWest members.  Reserve your table at: Fall Job Fair Employer Registration.  If you are interested in increased exposure and premier table placement, sponsorship opportunities are available.
