If you’re a sole-proprietor or Utah small business with fewer than 50 employees, you may be eligible for a PPE Push Pack. The state is providing free startup PPE to help small businesses get back to work in May. PPE Push Packs may include protective face masks, hand sanitizer, latex gloves and other items. Contents may vary depending on state inventory. You can register to pick up a PPE Push Pack at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfco7xAZTmAkplqT3wLldaWUGg0oMhtninWThR_LcbgPwXdUQ/viewform. Instructions will be provided after you submit the form and your request is processed (approx. 48 hours). Please note that these push packs do not apply to medical or dental offices. Also, non-urgent healthcare workers should continue to go through their county health departments for PPE.
The Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Development recently announced the Utah COVID-19 Commercial Rental Assistance Program. The Utah State Legislature passed S.B. 3006, The COVID-19 Commercial Rental Assistance Program which includes $40 million in commercial rental assistance. Eligibility requirements are available along with access to the online application at https://business.utah.gov/utah-covid-19-commercial-rental-assistance-program/.
