February President's Message | Advocacy, Access & Action

President’s Message

Dear ChamberWest Members,
The pace of change affecting businesses is real. Employers across our region are balancing workforce shortages, housing and childcare pressures, regulatory complexity, and rapid technological disruption. In moments like this, alignment and access matter, and ChamberWest is at the table every day working to ensure west-side businesses are heard, represented, and positioned to compete.

ChamberWest is committed to delivering measurable return on your membership investment. We advocate for policies that promote stability and growth, create direct access to elected officials and community leaders, and provide leadership and professional development that strengthens your team. Our focus is straightforward, make sure your business has the influence, visibility, and information needed to succeed.

Now halfway through the Legislative Session, our Legislative Affairs Committee is meeting twice weekly to advance priorities including business and government relations, economic development, education, healthcare, housing, natural resources/environment/air quality, public utilities, tax policy, transporation, workforce, and childcare solutions. Through advocacy, regional partnerships, and programs like Women in Business and our professional development initiatives, we are turning member engagement into real impact. I encourage you to stay involved and be part of the momentum. Learn more about our priorities and how to get involved by visiting: https://www.chamberwest.com/legislative-affairs/
