CW Leadership Message - Gratitude - Portugal - Washington DC

CW Leadership Message - Gratitude - Portugal - Washington DC

As we journey further into 2024, I am compelled to extend a heartfelt expression of gratitude to the dedicated chamber members who actively contribute to our chamber’s mission.  It is through their unwavering commitment that every member of our chamber community reaps the rewards.

Whether they serve on the Ambassadors Committee, Women in Business Executive Committee, Leadership Institute Board of Trustees, Friday Connections Committee, Legislative Affairs Committee, Board of Directors and Board of Governors, Professional Development Luncheon Committee, Business Success Luncheon Series Committee, Job Fair Committee, Golf Tournament Committee, Annual Awards Gala Committee and more, each member volunteer generously offers their time, expertise, and connections for the betterment of all.  Their dedication embodies the true spirit of service and underscores the invaluable impact of collective action in service to the greater good.

Take time to get involved where you would most benefit in your professional journey.    In addition, there are many opportunities for sponsorship if you are interested in bringing additional attention to your organization.  Reach out to staff to explore how you can get more engaged or to explore sponsorship opportunities that would be a good fit for you and your organization.

As we continue to advocate for our businesses with the legislature, the CW Legislative Affairs Committee has been meeting twice a week since the Legislative Session started in January.  Their meetings have been dedicated to reviewing bills of interest to our businesses and to work with legislators from our footprint.  If you have legislation impacting your business and would like us to consider a position on it, please feel free to reach out with the information.

We are participating in a Utah Delegation Multi-Chamber Trip to Washington DC where we will visit with our Federal Delegation members and have access to some special meetings and tours.  If you have interest, feel free to reach out to me directly or access more information at:  Multi-Chamber Washington DC Trip.  Registration is limited.
