Having just recognized Memorial Day and the veterans who have served and continue to serve this great nation, we look forward to the summer months.  One of the highlights for ChamberWest in the summer is the Annual ChamberWest Golf Tournament, scheduled on June 15^th at Stonebridge Golf Club.  This event draws 180+ golfers and 30+ sponsors that we spread out over 27 holes at one of our beautiful local golf courses.  With just two weeks remaining, we have just a few sponsorship opportunities still available as the tournament is nearly sold out.  Please reach out to me directly as soon as possible to explore remaining opportunities. 
 
The Leadership Institute Board of Directors are accepting applications for the 2022/2023 Leadership Institute Program which starts on September 8^th.  If you have a current leader or an up and coming leader in your organization that you would like to send through this impactful and highly acclaimed program, you can find information at:  https://www.chamberwest.com/leadership-institute/.  This program is limited to 25 participants and we can only accept a maximum of two a year per organization. 
 
We are excited to announce an upcoming opportunity for chamber members and guests.  We have joined with Citslinc to create a ChamberWest trip to Scotland, October 15-23, 2022.  This nine-day trip will include Edinburgh, St Andrews, Highland, Stirling and Glasgow and includes roundtrip airfare, 4-5 star lodging, fluent English speaking tour guides, deluxe bus accommodations, breakfasts and lunches, and entrance fees to planned attractions.  Information is available at:  https://chambermaster.blob.core.windows.net/userfiles/UserFiles/chambers/3110/File/CWScotlandTrip.pdf
 
We have a very successful partnership with Visit Salt Lake and Sports Salt Lake with the Sports, Tourism & Events Sales Manager - West Region, Evan Bauerle.  Having just started at the beginning of the year, Evan and Sports Salt Lake have already secured seven major events for the west region, representing over $10 million in economic impact to our community.  Many thanks to our venues, cities, and hotel partners for their support!
