CW Leadership Communication - Call for Board Nominations, Golf, Leadership Institute, Job Fair & More

Good Afternoon!
With fall just around the corner, it’s time to call out for nominations for those interested in serving on the ChamberWest Board of Directors.  The Board of Directors is our policy board and is responsible for managing and directing the Chamber’s affairs, controlling its property, overseeing finances, and carrying out the Chamber’s policies.  The deadline to submit nominations is September 10 with nominations then forwarded to the Nominations Committee for review and consideration.  The nomination form is available at: https://chambermaster.blob.core.windows.net/userfiles/UserFiles/chambers/3110/Image/2021-Board-Nomination-Form.pdf.

The ChamberWest Golf Tournament on Wednesday, August 18 at Stonebridge Golf Club is sold out with 180 golfers.  Even with rain in the forecast, those who have signed up to participate should come ready to play as this tournament promises to deliver on a fun tournament, great food and beverage, awesome raffle items, and an opportunity to spend time with friends and colleagues.  We look forward to hosting you!  We look forward to seeing you, rain or shine!

If leadership development is important to your organization, ChamberWest has a reputation for an effective and powerful Leadership Institute Program.  This 10 month program, scheduled to start on September 8th is designed to challenge and engage leaders in professional and personal growth while inspiring an entrepreneurial spirit in building a better community.  If you can commit to one day per week over 10 months and want to become or have a key staff member become a more impactful and effective leader, get your applications submitted as soon as possible to secure one of the 25 available slots.  More information and registration is available at: https://chamberwest.com/2021-leadership-institute.
