The Annual Awards Galais scheduled for Tuesday, March 29th at the Maverik Center.  This signature ChamberWest event will attract 400 of our business and civic leaders.  We look forward to recognizing our 2022 Hall of Fame Award recipient, Mayor Kristie Overson. We will also be celebrating with our award finalists and the winners of each of the award categories announced that night.   If you haven’t determined your participation level for the evening, sponsorship information is available at: https://chambermaster.blob.core.windows.net/userfiles/UserFiles/chambers/3110/File/22GalaSponsorships.pdf.  If interested, please reach out to Connie Bailey at 801-977-8755 or connie@chamberwest.org.

It is the legislative season with just seven days remaining until the session ends.  We continue to work on the catalytic converter bill – HB38 – Property Theft Amendments.  This bill has passed the house and is currently circled in the Senate as a new amendment is reviewed.  We have also been working on HB60S02 – Vaccine Passport Amendments as this bill will effect business.  You can access the ChamberWest Bill Tracker at: https://chamberwest.com/bill-tracker---legislative-affairs .  If you have a bill important to your organization or industry, please reach out to me with that important information and we’ll get the information in front of the committee and our legislators.
