ChamberWest Happenings - Golf - Luncheons - Leadership Institute - Portugal and More

As we celebrate Small Business Month, we are reminded of the extraordinary contributions that each of you make to our local economy and community.  Small businesses are the heartbeat of our region, driving innovation, creating jobs, and fostering a sense of belonging.  Together let’s recognize and applaud the invaluable impact of small businesses, as we continue to champion their growth and prosperity.

Tomorrow, we have our CW Professional Development Series Luncheon featuring Craig “Hypr” Andrle, Colonel, USAF, Retired, who will be presenting valuable information on “Taiwan, China, and the Threat of War”.  A Chinese invasion of Taiwan would be globally catastrophic, regardless of its success of if the United States intervenes.  How could this impact business?  There are a few spots still available.  You can learn more or register at: May Luncheon Event.

We are again expecting a sell out for the 2024/2025 Leadership Institute Program, which starts September 18-19.  If you have an amazing leader in your organization or an individual you expect can do great things, you may be interested in sending them through this impactful and highly acclaimed program.  More information and an application for participation is available at:  CW Leadership InstituteThis program is limited to 30 participants with a maximum of two per organization per year.   With expected funds from the golf tournament raffle, there will be two scholarships available for non-profits or small businesses with less than 10 employees.

April was a busy month with our traditional cadence of programs/events and in addition a very successful Women in Business Spring Conference and Job Fair.  Over $2,000 was donated based on a Spring Conference raffle program to the Synergy Family Services.  A big shout out to the Women in Business Committee and to our members as we donated a conference room full of softly used business clothing to Mujeres Unidas de Utah.  MUU Strengthens women and families and promotes a better future.
