Happy Holidays to all!

Hopefully, you are looking forward to spending time with family and friends over the holiday season.  It’s been another exciting year with 2023 just around the corner and full of opportunities!  Many thanks to all for the participation, engagement and expertise you are so willing to share as we work to strengthen and promote our business community.  With the 2023 Legislative Session scheduled to start on January 17th, you will see an uptick in meetings and caucuses as your ChamberWest Legislative Affairs Committee members, utilizing the approved priority documents, work in reviewing legislation, taking positions, and working with legislators on bills of interest to our business community.  You can learn more at:  https://www.chamberwest.com/legislative-affairs/.

With January just two weeks away, please take a few minutes to register for a couple of upcoming events of interest.  On January 17th, we have the opportunity to hear from Natalie Gochnour as part ot of the Professional Development Series Luncheon event.  She will be speaking on “Utah Economic Insights 2023”.  How often do you have a chance to hear from Natalie for just $25 for a luncheon event?  Registration is available at:  https://business.chamberwest.com/events/details/chamberwest-professional-development-series-01-17-2023-2478.  Many thanks to Monica Rafferty and Embassy Suites for sponsoring this informational event.

On January 31, we will host our first Annual Membership Breakfast Meeting with members having one vote per organization to ratify the slate of new officers and board members.  Plan to join business and civic leaders as board leadership share brief highlights from the past and expectations for the future.  Committee Chairs will share brief updates on their committees and opportunities for engagement.  You can register now for this high energy, fast moving and informative breakfast meeting at:  https://business.chamberwest.com/events/details/chamberwest-annual-membership-meeting-2477?calendarMonth=2023-01-01.  Many thanks to White Elegance for sponsoring this inaugural event!
