ChamberWest Communication - Fall Conference - Legislative Affairs and More

Dear Members,

As we embrace November, we’re reminded of two significant occasions that highlight our civic responsibilities and community values. Yesterday, on Election Day, we had the opportunity to make our voices heard on issues shaping the future of our community. Soon, on Veterans Day, we will pause to honor the brave men and women who have served in our armed forces, safeguarding the freedoms we cherish. We encourage you to take a moment to reflect on the importance of these observances and join us in supporting our community during this meaningful time.

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, we look forward to a time of gratitude, celebration, and connection with family and friends. Wishing you a season filled with warmth, joy, and togetherness.

If you haven’t registered yet, we encourage you and your team to join us for the 7th Annual ChamberWest Fall Business Conference on November 13. This signature event is one of our largest gatherings, drawing a dynamic mix of business and civic leaders. Connect with professionals from business, government, and local organizations as we discuss trends and strategies shaping the future of our community.

Enjoy a full day of networking, engaging sessions, and insightful presentations. We’re thrilled to feature Boyd Matheson, current host of Inside Sources on KSL NewsRadio and Sunday Edition on KSL-TV, speaking on "America: Where Do We Go From Here?" Robert Spendlove will also share his expertise on “Utah’s Economic Frontier: Opportunities and Challenges Ahead.”  The conference includes breakfast, lunch, and lively discussions, with six breakout session topics to choose from.  The early bird registration rate is available through November 7th.  For more details and to register, please visit:  Fall Business Conference

ChamberWest’s Legislative Affairs Committee, one of our most impactful groups, is diligently working to finalize priority documents for its nine subcommittees in preparation for the 2025 Legislative Session. With over 100 members, the committee includes subcommittees focused on Air Quality, Business and Government Relations, Economic Development and Business Sustainability, Education and Workforce Development, Healthcare, Housing, Public Utilities, Tax Policy, and Transportation. This committee’s hard work benefits all Chamber members as they actively participate in the legislative process, serving as vigilant advocates and ensuring our members’ voices are represented.
